PsycMe is an online facilitation platform that connects users with independent, qualified mental health professionals through the PsycStore network.
All therapy, counseling, and consultation services are provided solely by the individual professionals, and not by PsycMe.

PsycMe does not provide any medical or psychological diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care and should not be considered a substitute for direct clinical or medical intervention.


2. Client Rights

As a client using the PsycMe platform, you are entitled to:

a. Right to Respect and Dignity

Every client will be treated respectfully, without discrimination based on gender, religion, age, background, or beliefs.

b. Right to Privacy

Information shared during registration or sessions remains confidential and is never disclosed without your consent, except under legal or emergency conditions.

c. Right to Informed Consent

You have the right to understand the nature, purpose, and limits of therapy before beginning sessions.

d. Right to Withdraw

You may choose to discontinue therapy at any time. However, PsycMe follows a strict No Refund Policy, regardless of session completion or satisfaction.

e. Right to Safe and Ethical Service

All professionals listed on PsycStore are verified for qualifications and are ethically responsible for their practice.


3. Confidentiality and Data Protection

a. Therapist’s Ethical Duty

All mental health professionals are bound by their ethical and legal obligation to maintain client confidentiality.

b. Information Protection

Personal data and session records are stored securely and are not shared with third parties unless required by law or authorized by the client.

c. Legal Exceptions

Confidentiality may be broken only when:

  • There is an immediate threat of harm to self or others.
  • Disclosure is mandated by a court or legal authority.
  • It is necessary to protect vulnerable individuals (such as minors).

d. Platform Data Handling

PsycMe collects limited personal information for operational purposes only.
Data is encrypted and protected according to applicable privacy regulations in India.


4. No Refund Policy

All bookings and payments made through PsycMe are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Therapy outcomes may vary based on individual circumstances, and PsycMe does not guarantee specific results from any session or professional service.


5. Limitation of Liability (No Responsibility Clause)

PsycMe acts only as a facilitator between clients and independent mental health professionals.
Accordingly:

  • PsycMe is not responsible for the conduct, advice, actions, or effectiveness of any psychologist, counselor, or therapist.
  • PsycMe does not assume liability for emotional, psychological, or financial outcomes resulting from therapy sessions.
  • All communication, advice, and treatment are the sole responsibility of the individual professional.
  • PsycMe shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or professional services accessed through it.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients using PsycMe agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal information.
  • Respect professional boundaries.
  • Use the platform responsibly and ethically.
  • Avoid recording or distributing session content without written permission.
